Meet Computer Engineer Barbie, released this year to inspire women to enter the IT profession. Not sure what our female computing students will make of her but the article here does link to some profiles of some successful women who work in IT which are worth a look. Some other useful sources concerning women in computing include the BCS Forum on Women in IT, and the Women in Computing websites from the ACM and the CPSR. Do you have any experience or advice on the subject? Or any other useful resources for women working in IT? Please share them if you do!
