You may have noticed when using Computer Source or Inspec that database provider EBSCO had a new design.
It is designed to be far more user-friendly than the previous interface and from my brief experience I certainly think it is! You can watch a demo of the new interface here. Improvements include:
- A new simpler basic searching screen
- The ability to preview an article or image by mouseover
- New result list
- New detail display
- New search history capability
- Enhanced personalization features
- New organization of limiters and expanders
- New search modes including SmartText
- URLs that can be bookmarked
